NICU Charity Project – Give Hope

NICU Charity, Project Give Hope – Feature Gallery wall and mural to GIVE HOPE to all the families with babies in the NICU day in and day out!

Some of you may have heard some talk about my NICU project, but here’s the final word – straight from my mouth … it’s on, it’s official, it’s go time!! 

I am so excited about this “Project Give Hope” because it is so near and dear to my heart!  My little man was born at 30wks, and spent 6 weeks in the NICU, so I know how dreadful it can be to walk down long sterile hallways, time and time again, just to get your newborns side.  It’s depressing, and extremely hard to do.  So along with the Virginia Hospital’s foundation, and a great muralist Amy Tubbs, we plan to transform the entire area into a hallway of hope :)

The idea driving this whole thing is to take beautiful photographs of children that have passed through this NICU, that now lead amazing happy lives, and feature them to GIVE HOPE to all the families with babies in the NICU day in and day out!  We will be choosing 15-20 families and line the hallway leading to the NICU with fun, huge gallery wraps, which will all be surrounded by a gorgeous mural that showcases life and growth :)
