James and I joined an adult kick ball league, and it is the coolest thing ever.  So much fun!! haha, I love it :)

As most of you know I am working on all the interior design choices for the new house we are building, and I was having the hardest time deciding what to do with Snigg’s room!  He has had this car/truck room since he was in a crib, and while I love it, I am ready for a change!  I want something a little less “kiddy” but I still wanted to choose a theme, and it has been hard!  BUT, I am happy to say, I finally decided :)  yay!

I am going with the theme “California”  And while I know that is sort of dangerous in the proud state of Texas, I’m sticking to it!  I was born and raised in good ol’ Cali, and I miss it so much!  What’s not love about surf and sun??!  Anyway, I have tons of really cool ideas, and I can’t wait to share them all, but I think a little at a time is best ;)  So, first up, I chose the colors

Then, I started searching online for a print that matched my theme and colorway, which proved to be a lot harder than I thought, haha.  But, I came across this image, by Gregory Boratyn, and I was thrilled!

It is PERFECT!  The colors, pretty much dead on and it’s a breath-taking photo of Laguna Beach!  Plus, I really think the HDR gives it that little touch of manliness, don’t you think?  Perfect for a boy California room :)

I contacted Gregory to purchase a print, and I gotta say, he is awesome!  He got right back to me, and he sells the large format files for $25!  SCORE, right?!  Now, I can print it any way I want, and I’m sure it will be the focal point of the room :)  I cannot wait!

I finished up this fun quickly custom blog this week, it’s almost time for her to launch too!  I can’t wait to share the entire thing, it was a fun blog design!
